Student Research Grants

The RIEEE is tasked with fostering and facilitating interdisciplinary research on the Appalachian State University campus.  Supporting mentored student research is part and parcel of this goal.

Our student research grant efforts expanded in 2014 by soliciting matching support from academic units across campus.  We received a significant response to this year's theme, "Creating a Healthy, Just and Sustainable Society."

Please view these summaries to see the breadth of research and creative endeavors we are proud to support.
