This project is a component of a larger study that will assess the social and economic impact of forest carbon markets and climate change policy on diverse categories of landowners. Our proposed work aims to gain an understanding of the economic and social impacts associated with investing in forest conservation programs that connect landowners to carbon markets and other carbon pricing schemes, while maximizing the potential of privately-owned forests to mitigate climate change through increased carbon storage.
